In a field, to the west of the junction of the B3151 and the road to Podimore village, just north of RNAS Yeovilton, lie two Type 24 pillboxes. The one above is overgrown at the front and sides and faces south-east (169 deg.)  The box appears to be used as a store.

To the west of the previous box is this Type 24.

In the picture above you can see how the concrete around the top of the structure has eroded, the exposed tips of the concrete reinforcing rods can be seen pointing skyward. 

The box faces south-west (210 deg.).  There is a third Type 24 in the corner of the field to the east of the B3151/Podimore road junction but it is hidden from view.
