At Sand Bay I visited two Type 24 beach defence pillboxes.  This is the front of the most northerly structure.

The box faces south-west (241 deg.).

Around the entrance, and loopholes, small holes can be seen.  These were probably drilled for the insertion of camouflage support brackets.
