| Out in the open, quite a
distance away from the
cover of the hedgerow in Gaunts Road lies this Type 24 pillbox which would
probably have been camouflaged as a hay-stack or shed. The River
Parrett estuary can be seen beyond the pillbox and in the background is the
hazy outline of Brean Down.

As the box is on private land it was only possible to get photos of the rear of the structure. |
