somerset pillboxes

During WWII, a beach defence pillbox camouflaged as a railway signal box - complete with pitched roof,  stood on the northern side of the railway track at Blue Anchor station.  The structure is now mostly overgrown.

[Map ref. ST 0240 4338]

The pillbox has survived but it's roof and other camouflage have gone.
