To the west of Blue Anchor promenade is this Infantry Section Post with it's roof at about road level.  It has a total of 9 rifle loopholes and 2 machine gun embrasures in it's forward facing walls and is reputedly the only example of this particular type of structure extant.

The front wall, facing north-east (012 deg.) toward the sea, has 3 rifle loopholes one of which is blocked.

This wall faces north-east (062 deg.) and has 3 rifle loopholes and 1 machine gun embrasure, all are blocked except 1 rifle loophole.
