Taunton, to the north-east of the railway bridge at Bathpool, this partly
demolished pillbox and the structure on the following page are all that
remain of the Taunton anti-tank island outer defences.

| More than half of the structure appears to be missing so it is difficult to tell what type of pillbox it is. However, the loopholes in this structure are of a similar shape and size to those found in Type 26 pillboxes. |
